Income Tax matter: Estimation of sell & rate of gross profit
Grameen Danone Foods Ltd Vs. Commissioner of Taxes reported in 6 CLR (HCD) (2018) 25. The Hon’ble Court observed as follows, “Moreover, it appears from the assessment order that the assessee is a Bangladeshi company, but the DCT, while estimating the sale as well as rate of gross profit, rejecting the assessee’s claim, estimated those considering only the sale and rate of gross profit of a renowned multinational company registered in Bangladesh, namely, New Zealand Dairy Products Bangladesh Limited, which is not proper…(Paras 21-22)
Power & Energy: Gas Supply through dedicated line 150 psi 12- inch gas line
TM Textile and Garments Vs. Bangladesh reported in 6 CLR (HCD) (2018) 65. The issues involved were that of a legitimate expectation of the Petitioner to keep its gas line dedicated & exclusive, denying any access to any other party as the Petitioner spent a significant amount of money for its construction.

Chambers have drafted Memorandum of Articles of a Joint Venture Company between Union Resources, China, Appolo Engineering and others for a 1320MW proposed coal power plant at Cox’s Bazaar.
Collision Case with Naval Vessel
We have successfully represented London P & I Club & Ship-owner on very complex disputes involving
damage of Sulk Cargo at the fault of Master. Which involved the complex process of offloading on damping of cargo. We have successfully been able to reach an out of court settlement for the benefit of our client.
Joint Venture with Indian Leather Conglomerates
We have negotiated the deal and finalized the JVA & Memorandum & Article for a joint venture between A reputed local entrepreneur and VKC Group of India
