Mr. Rubaiyat Hussain completed his Bachelor of Laws LL.B. (Hons.) from North South University in 2024. He is a junior associate lawyer and a member of the Investment and Business Setup Team. The Corporate and Investment department, where he is a member, is ranked under Corporate and Finance for five consecutive years.
Investment
As part of the Firm’s Investment Department he was involved in the following works:
- Assisted the client to submit Form XII to RJSC and collected RJSC approval on the joining of their new Director.
- Acted on behalf of our client to file the annual return to the RJSC.
- Acted on behalf of our client by submitting the Preference Shares Class A to the RJSC.
- Acted on behalf of our client by conducting the RJSC Search & providing a Search Report.
- Advised client in opening of a subsidiary for Ralph Lauren and Shakti Pump

- Advised client in Opening Liaison office for CHWE liaison office
- Drafted MA AA, trust deed etc for a number of clients
Corporate
As part of the Firm’s Corporate Department he was involved in the following works:
- Assisting the client in formulating Provident Fund and Gratuity Fund including drafting required deeds and rules. We will also assist the client in obtaining approval and recognition of the funds respectively from the NBR after creation of the funds.
- As a part of the team advised OOCL on Share acquisition process.
- As a part of the team advised Salam Shipping on Share acquisition process
- Due Diligence report provided to Abu Dhabi Fund on overall corporate and finance related issues in Bangladesh.
- Advised GAB Limited to a number of agreements and Security Documents.
Organisation Plan
A junior associate lawyer is a relatively experienced member of a Team, senior to/promoted from the post of a Legal Intern. They assist the Chambers with legal research, fact analysis, and coordinating with clients on procedural issues. They also prepare legal opinions, draft pleadings and finalise the same under the supervision of senior colleagues.
