19th Years Anniversary Annual Dinner, December 13, 2025

 

Rahman’s Chambers proudly celebrated its 19th Anniversary Annual Dinner on Saturday, 13 December 2025, at 7:00 PM at Zizzi Banquet Hall (Level-2), Platinum Grand, 52, Road-11, Block-F, Banani, Dhaka-1213. The event was graced by distinguished guests from the aviation and legal sectors. Mr. Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director, NovoAir Ltd., attended as the Special Guest and delivered an insightful speech on “Investment in the Aviation Industry.” Mr. Kazi Wahidul Alam, Founder Editor of The Bangladesh Monitor and Managing Director of Airspan Ltd., was present as the Guest of Honour and delivered a speech on “Development of the Aviation Sector.” From Rahman’s Chambers, Mr. Mohammed Forrukh Rahman, Head of Chambers, delivered a speech on “Aviation Disputes” and Mr. Hasan Al Arafat, Head of Corporate Department, gave a speech on “Aviation Finance and Leasing Law”. Broadening the scope to an international level,  the event featured insights from distinguished guest speakers who joined via remote attendance, Mr. Hajime Akamatsu, Attorney-at-Law, Nishimura & Asahi (Japan), who delivered a speech on “Japanese Airport Concession Contracts” and Mr. Ganesh Chandru, Partner, Dua Associates (India), delivered a thought-provoking speech on “Arbitration in the Aviation Sector”.

DELEGATION FOR ICC’S COMMISSION MEETING ON 8TH APRIL 2025  

ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR Meeting held in Paris on 8 April 2025. The meeting marked a historic occasion, distinguished by a record-breaking attendance of 600 delegates in person and an additional 300 joining remotely from across the globe. Our esteemed Head of Chambers, Mr. Mohammed Forrukh Rahman, participated in the meeting physically as a delegate nominated by ICC Bangladesh. The day was characterized by rigorous intellectual engagement, constructive debate, and substantive discussions on a broad spectrum of topics, including the drafting of new rules and proposed revisions—underscoring the Commission’s pivotal role in shaping the future of international arbitration and dispute resolution.
