Mr. Mohammed Forrukh Rahman is appointed as a delegate of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR in 2022 as nominated by ICC Bangladesh. This 100-year-old prestigious think tank provided the first draft of the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards. (New York, 1958), commonly known as the New York Convention, which is ratified by 172 countries until 2023. It is considered as one of the most successful international treaties providing uniform enforcement mechanisms of arbitral awards globally. The commission works on developing and updating ICC arbitration rules.

In the Commission Meeting dated 28 March 2023 which took place in Paris around 300 Delegates joined in person from different countries of the world. Around the same number of delegates also joined virtually. Mr. Rahman also joined the meeting physically. The Commission approved new tools and guides involving arbitration, the content of which is not yet made publicly available.
